Presbyterians believe that faith development is a lifelong process. We encourage our members to study the Bible, deepen their faith, and relate God’s messages to our daily lives. In addition to Sunday School classes, the Presbyterian Women’s circles offer monthly Bible study. During Lent and at other special times during the year, additional opportunities for book and Bible studies are available.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Two Adult Sunday School classes meet at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
- Fidelis Class meets upstairs in the Beulah Room in the Ramsey Activity Building, which also houses our gym and is located just across the parking lot from the main church building. This class enjoys conversation around Bible study, theological topics, and faith-related book studies.
- Conversations Class meets in the Library in the main building. This class discusses current events and theology, and sometimes uses a theological book as a guide.
Mondays, 10:30 - Noon
Begins September 17, 2018
Pastor Diane will be offering a study on Monday mornings from 10:30 to Noon, beginning September 17. Lively discussion and in-depth learning of what we believe--our CREDO--will be had by all!
The subject of the first study in the Credo Class will be Brian D. McLaren's new book The Great Spiritual Migration. Pastor Diane will balance McLaren's book with excerpts from Howard L Rice's work on Reformed Spirituality. You can purchase McLaren's book from Amazon or your local bookstore.
If you are interested in participating in the Credo Class, please contact the church office by clicking on the link. RSVP
The Beulah Book Club meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday, January through October and the 2nd Wednesday of November at 1:30 p.m. in Beulah’s library. Members suggest titles which include a variety of topics and styles. All book lovers are invited to join the group for one or as many sessions as you like. Yes, it’s about reading and discussing, but even more, it’s about sharing our insights and opening our hearts.
